While not a VFX artist by trade I've done plenty of simulation and particle work under Lost Cosmonauts, so I thought I might compile a quick reel to show off some of my spent time. I'm very proud of these learned skills as it has given a large insight into the medium, and has sparked a small fire of interest in doing some of my own personal simulation work at some point. The internal project showcased below the main reel was a 30-day production made by 3 artists. I was put in charge of this short production to explore possibilities for future films productions in Unreal. My specific contributions among art direction were shot composition, lighting, Unreal Engine shader work, smoke/debris/fire particles, cloth simulations, and procedural assets including the rocks, corpses, and cobwebs.
